Unfortunately, Debt Management Programmes typically only last for a short period of time. The industry statistics are that when an individual enters into a DMP they normally last for approximately 8-9 months. After that time, they are then looking at either an IVA or Bankruptcy as the only viable solutions to get them out of their debt crisis.
